Background: Mental and psychological problems among immigrants are not a new phenomenon, but as the number of immigrants has increased in recent years, these issues have become visible to all. This study aims to determine the relationship between the psychological health, cognitive flexibility, brain-behavioral systems, and sensory processing of Iranian immigrants to Canada.

Moreover, low sensory registration, sensory sensitivity, and cognitive flexibility were identified as predictors of anxiety.

Conclusion: According to this study, there were significant relationships between sensory processing patterns, cognitive flexibility, brain-behavioral systems, and anxiety in Iranian immigrant students, and this issue may indicate the need for teaching cognitive skills strategies for immigrant students and raising awareness of their sensory needs in to reduce their anxiety.
