Wadeia Mohammad Sharief is the DIO and has been the Director of Medical Education and Research Department in Dubai Health Authority since 2018. She is a consultant in Family Medicine. She had served in Medical Education leadership since 2010 and on September 2021, she has been appointed as a Professor mainly in Dubai Medical College and Sharjah University. Subsequently, continuous learning is highly significant for her, which is why she has extensive academic achievements. She has Master’s Degree in Health Care Management from Royal College of surgeons in Ireland, followed by another Master’s Degree in Post Graduate Medical Education in Keele University, UK. Her broad role also includes her being the Editor in Chief of Dubai Medical Journal in DHA. She has several ongoing research projects and has manuscripts and opinion editorials published in reputed journals. She has presented in local and regional conferences on topics of family medicine and in medical education.
